From 0 kids.... to 2 kids....

My poor sister in law has been watching every kid and their dog this past week. So she was definitely in need of a break! I decided to pick the kids up AFTER their naps haha and take them for the day, so she could have some time to herself! We ran a few errands and then went back to our house to play. One kid is easy... two kids... that takes talent! ha

Alivia and I decided to make some Christmas cookies! I saw this super cute idea a few years ago and just decided to wing it...

Drew came home around 730pm and took Adam while Alivia and I finished up our cookies. Drew started playing the guitar and Adam went crazy! He was so cute dancing along and trying to play the guitar himself. It didn't take long for Alivia to give up on the cookies and join in the party!

We got them all sugared up and sent them home! ha, Luckily, Adam fell asleep on the way home and Alivia went straight to bed! WAHOO!  Mission accomplished!

Kids Once Again

Tonight Drew and I finally gave into everyone's demands and saw Tangled! Super cute movie. We have already started saving our $$ so we can buy it as soon as it comes out... We were constantly laughing through the whole thing.

I have also already asked Drew for a pet Chameleon!!

I kinda want to go blonde again now..... :/

Another Trip to Color Me Mine

Drew and I have finally come up with a system. He can play Zelda while I update the blog. ha, so I will probably have a lot of new posts in the upcoming weeks! (He can't put a new game down...boys!)

Last Saturday, Drew and I had our weekly date night. Since of course it is December and Christmas is less than a week away, we have been deciding what our Christmas traditions will be as a new family. One of the things we decided was that we wanted to get a new Christmas ornament each year! This year, we decided to make one, so we went to Color Me Mine in Provo! When we walked in, I saw this snowman cookie jar and had to have it! Long story short, Drew gave in and we decided to buy our ornament and make our "1st Christmas Cookie Jar." Here he is after I painted his face....

Here we are at the beginning of our painting experience..

As everyone knows, I am my mother's daughter and with that comes my perfectionism! So, Drew was in charge of the hat! I put on the tape, and he painted the top hat black! It is actually going to turn out way cool because there will be white specs all over! COOLEST TOP HAT EVER! As Drew is demonstrating below, while I am hard at work! ;]

As you could imagine, it took me a LONG time to finish... So, Drew kept himself entertained with the camera! These are a few of the many faces I see on a daily basis. He makes a new face everyday and always asks, "Would you still have married me if I looked like this?" haha

I could tell he was super bored and I needed a rest, so we traded and he painted on the buttons! Here he is hard at work! What a STUD! ;]

... FIVE HOURS LATER... just kidding... maybe four hours later... haha...
We are finally finished!!! (Well sorta, we can pick him up on Friday, then he will be done)
Whadda ya think!?

Our First Christmas Tree!!

I have been sicker than sick the past 2 1/2 weeks, but we still went out and picked out our tree and then spent the night setting up our Christmas Tree! I could barely stand while we were decorating, but we finally got it up!! and it is BEAUTIMUS! Well, Drew and I went to bed and in the middle of the night I woke up to a LOUD crash! Drew of course heard nothing and said we would take care of whatever it was in the morning. Drew woke up before me the next morning and saw our poor Christmas tree on the floor. Luckily, there was only one broken ornament, and every thing else was very fixable!

Reception

I am having problems uploading pictures! But here are a few from the reception!
