Goodbye Old... Hello New

Drew and I decided to down size a little and start saving up our money.  We want to take a trip every year together and since I want to go on BIG trips, that means lots of saving....

We posted our apartment on KSL and the next day we got a call, they came to look at the apartment, and the next morning they called to say they were going ahead with the paperwork. We had less than 2 days to be all moved out! Not to mention we both had school AND Drew had work and I had a job interview! So basically we had less than a day!

I had some pretty awesome friends that came and helped me pack up all the fragile stuff! and then Drew had some help lifting everything. I have NO idea how we did it, but we did! We got all moved out and into Drew's sister's house! We are finally all settled in and adjusting to all the new changes. I had to post some pictures of our first apartment though... so here they are. :]

We had our own washer and dryer! Oh my! What a wonderful thing! ha... never having to use a public laundromat again!!

As you can see I already started taking things off the walls when these pics were taken.

We loved our first apartment!
2 bed 2 bath, fully furnished, washer and dryer, two stories, so close to campus
(I walked to school everyday!)

We were so blessed.... but I'd rather go on fun adventures than have a super nice apartment right now! :]

New Years and The Baumgartners!

We had such a fun New Year's week!! Drew's family came in town and stayed until the day after New Years! Although Drew still had to work, they found time to do all kinds of stuff!! Kyler (Drew's little brother) drove home with us after Christmas and the first thing they all had to do was try out Ky's new gun. They came home smelling like nothing less than gunpowder and dirt! ha. We all had so much fun playing the Wii, watching movies, sort of staying up for New Years, going out to eat, grocery shopping (which was a huge blessing!) and searching for a movie theater that was not sold out of Tangled on New Years Day... which was a failure :[

We are so glad we got to spend time with family over the holidays!

Christmas in Colorado

We are so lucky that both sets of parents live in Colorado! So going home for Christmas is always a win win situation! We decided to spend this Christmas with my family, since Drew's family would be coming to Colorado the week of New Years, but we still spent a few hours on Christmas day. We had such a fun Christmas and were so blessed with the gifts we received.
Drew got exactly what he wanted...
and I got exactly what I wanted.

It was perfect!
But our favorite part was just spending time with family!

Spencer's NATIONAL Wrestling Tournament

This past weekend, Spencer had a NATIONAL wrestling tournament up in Heber City, UT. Drew and I originally had plans to go to NorCal, but do to weather we were unable to go! So, win win situation (I figured if we go to Cali it would be so much fun!!! and if we stayed here it would be so much fun!), we got to go to Spencer's tournament and cheer him on instead. It was my first wrestling match of the season. I use to go home for every match, but haven't been able to make it out to Colorado. Here we are at the tournament...

Wrestling is honestly my heaven on Earth!

Me and my Mama!! Boy do I LOOOOVE her! I have also realized I need to start tanning again... Drew is almost darker than me!

I made all of us shirts the night before.. mine was by far the coolest!
Mine: "Don't mess with a wrestler's sister!"
Drew's: "Tap out or pass out... the choice is yours"
Dillon's: "Give Blood: Wrestle"

... and on the back it said Reynolds #1

I could not resist putting this picture up... hahahahahhaha...
My family is super close... hahahahaha
This is my mom and her sister Sandra and my cousin Bridger.

(No they are not kissing... My mom leaned in for the picture and Sandra turned away, not wanting to be in the picture... Bridger's face just makes this picture priceless!!)
